The official launch of Mining & Technology Australia was held at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, with a keynote address from The Hon. Ian Macdonald, NSW Minister for Mineral and Forest Resources.

This proved to be an important networking event for key figures within the industry and laid the foundation for future relationships facilitated through Mining & Technology Australia.

Some 80 delegates attended the event, the first of its kind for Roxby Media, with major topics for discussion including the technology boom, innovation and its subsequent commercialisation, sustainability and Australia-China trade relations for the new decade.
