Representing 17 Arab nations and Australia, the launch for Australia and the Arab Nations was always going to make for a full house! The event was sponsored by Tourism Oman and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Main issues discussed at the event included finance, imports and exports, agribusiness, education and migration. The Iraqi Ambassador, His Excellency Mouayed Saleh, addressed attendees on the importance of fostering strong relations between Iraq and Australia, while the keynote address from Senator Nick Sherry received an overwhelming response. Delegates also included representatives from the Egyptian Consulate Commercial Office and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates.
