Healthcare Innovation Expo 2011
The Healthcare Innovation Expo 2011 took place in London on 9 & 10 March. It included 250 inspirational speakers, 10 000 attendees, 250 exhibitors, 250 seminars and 10 interactive exhibition zones.
The expo was unique in bringing together the NHS, private, scientific, academic and voluntary sectors to see and learn about innovation in healthcare. It provided an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to observe and learn from other cutting-edge organisations, form new contacts with NHS decision makers and develop new business partnerships. The theme of the event was on driving the systemic uptake of innovation to support large-scale change in the NHS over the next 18 months. This means more of a focus on adopting and adapting innovations that are proven to improve the quality of patient outcomes and experiences and drive productivity gains.
