The relationship between Australia and Malaysia has developed significantly over the past 50 years and will only continue to strengthen as a result of the free trade agreement between the two nations being finalised in the next 12 months.
With both a Malaysia and Australia business focus, topics covered in Australia Malaysia: Forging Ahead include: finance, clean technology, food and agriculture, property, professional services, technology and innovation and eduction. With a print run of 10,000, it will be distributed to government and industry bodies, key business and executives in Australia and Malaysia.
Complementing the main publication will be a special Education and Research supplement, to be distributed to education institutions and government bodies in Malaysia and Australia. Last year around 23,000 Malaysians enrolled to study in Australia, with about another 22,000 enrolled in Australia higher education institutions in Malaysia. This supplement includes sections on schools, higher education, private education and training and research.
Supporting the print publications will be networking events and a dedicated website, providing relevant and updated information for businesses, executive and government.
The Australia Malaysia: Forging Ahead business briefing, taking place in Melbourne will bring together some of the country’s largest trading partners with Malaysia to discuss the latest developments within areas of human capital development, business and professional services, science, technology and sustainability as well as in dept discussions on the growth corridors and the work of Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN).
Following this will be a launch event in Kuala Lumpur, which will take form of a cocktail reception featuring keynote addresses from MIDA, the AMBC and the MABC.
